  • You are not paranoid. They are watching you.
  • Not really, if you happen to say 10+ 'Key Words' within a few minutes, and the computerised system happens to recocnize those (they're usually located at the base of microwave relay towers.) then a phone operators computer will alert him/her and he/she might take a quick listen, but they're not payed well, so there won't be much effort put in. (minimum wage, minimum effort :) ) And if they decide you're a terrorist they'll alert the FBI who will ask big brother CIA for help. So in conclusion, don't worry about it, it's all good :)
  • Of course they listen to you're calls, but like mt_si_guy said, minimum wage=minimum effort. Besides that, if you were to be worried about someone spying on you, I would be more worried about a rival business (or something of that sort, you know, someone who has something to gain by spying on you) than the government, they have their own problems covering up the heck they have raised lately.
  • No they do not, but they do have monitering equipment that is listening in! This equipment listens for keywords, as soon as a few of them have been said then the call may become listened to.
  • If you're American, then yes. They know what colour underpants you're wearing.
  • Probably not, unless you've done something to cause them to be interested in you.
  • Yes, and they send the best bits on to me in australia. I really enjoyed your joke last night. LOL
  • Yes they do, and they read your AnswerBag submissions.
  • I don't know about yours , but if they listened to mine , they would get bored really fast
  • Just mention "Obama" and "Osama" a few times in the same sentence, perhaps "Iraq"...then listen for the clicking. :)
  • No - because the CIA has no charter to operate domestically (withing the US). It's the NSA that listens to your phone calls!
  • No, you are way too boring.
  • Ssssssh!
  • Osama, No they are not listening, so it's okay to keep talking about your future career plans. No one will ever know what you want to do with your...
  • It's doubtful.
  • they were listening to your phone calls in the nineties... they have more important issues at hand, like convincing people that they should insert GPS friendly tracking modules in their skin. think im crazy? check ur american passport if its new, theres one in there already. =)
  • If you ever said anything like "I could just KILL that Bush!" they are. Of course that begs the questions "How did they know I said it?"...
  • If they do, catch em and sew em
  • if you're a terrorist, then my answer is, "of course not! keep talking!". if you're an innocent american, then my answer is, "nsa unless you're traveling overseas."
  • Are you surprised, when you will keep on talking about biN Laden and Mullah Omar and all those guys?? :)
  • How many agents do you think there are in place? One for each citizen to monitor? This is not Big Brother is watching 1984 novel. Did you do a bad, bad thing? Then maybe but it has to be national.
  • No, that would be the N.S.A. Back in the 60s and 70s it was the F.B.I. If you think your privacy is violated by the government now, you should have been a college student that attended any type of meeting when J.Edgar Hoover was running the show.
  • they are only to be spying on threats outside of the u.s.a its most likely the N.S.A ,or the F.B.I.
