I have no idea.
-
What question?
-
Because people may want points to add to their total, so they will look at the subject in Wikipedia and plagiarise the information from there. Also, they may be misguided in their knowledge of the subject
-
I do try to avoid questions I know nothing about, but maybe it is egotism and sometimes we think we know more than we do.
-
Because sometimes I just want to be heard. And sometimes, when I guess, or suggest, I'm right!
-
I don't. I might have a few times when I first joined, but learned quickly people want answers, not fluff. At least they want answers to their serious questions. And sometimes I see questions that already have good answers. If I don't have any new information, I don't answer. There's no point to posting the same information.
-
I'll tell you why I asked. Because I'm tired of seeing people trying to be cute and get points by answering, "I don't know" or "Maybe". When that's the first answer, it takes the question off the much-read Unanswered Questions list, where someone who actually KNOWS the answer might see and answer it. After that, the question only appears in its own category, where far fewer people will see it. Trying to be cute in this case dooms the question. I assume most people want real answers, not fluff, and I'm no exception.
-
Actually same ABers award points to everyone who answers his/her questions. They answer thinking they would get points.
-
Just because I said so! Actually, if I don't know the answer, I don't reply.
-
that was our attitude that speak anything whether right or wrong.

Uh... I don't know.
