It is a bit hard to determine what it is you are actually asking, but I'll give it a burl anyway. Colours are used in confectionery to make them more appealing visually, flavours are used to make them appealing in taste. If something has the colour red, but has the flavour of banana (for example) it will still taste like banana no matter how it looks as colours have no flavour chemicals in them, and the aroma chemicals used in flavouring are very specific to each type of flavour that is being used.
