  • I know your right - lol
  • most drunks wouldn't let that bother them. it didn't me, years ago.
  • Your right ,they should make two 9 packs so you could properly distribute the weight.
  • That's what cars are made for...carry heavy stuff so you don't have to.
  • No Pain, No Gain!
  • I've been in the Grocery retail business for 29 years....the reason you are having trouble carrying a 18 pack is that the manufacture doesn't really take that in to consideration when they design and package beer or any other comodity for that matter. When 12 pack sales began way back when....things were going very well for both beer and soda sales....then the manufactures got wise and noticed that most people pick up two or more 12's...so they developed the 24 pack...but this package even though it still exists put the retail at a point where most people didn't have that kind of pocket money to spare. So then in a effort to gain more market share in their respective categories...either soda or beer....some manufactures developed a 18 pack so that the retail was less then the 24 pack...and they would sell more then the 12's...but could keep the retail lower and still sell more "tonnage"...does that make sense? In reality today if you shop around...you're still money ahead to buy two 12's instead of one 18....it's just the way they do it....more packages of the same product equals higher market share in those categories..which equals more money in the pockets of the manufacturers...Hope I didn't confuse you..lol...I think I am about there! I need a beer! LOL
  • yeah thats why they offer 18 packs also in cans...
  • Buy two and carry one in each hand. Why do you think a yoke is so effective for carrying buckets of water????
  • Duh. You're supposed to chug a few to reduce the load before you do that heavy lifting.
