I like the flavor of most wines

Now that is funny. It's all a matter of taste. I love a good bottle of wine but I hear where you are coming from. If you don't like the taste of wine, TRY TEQUILA!, it doesnt taste diluted at all!

I love my vino! But if a swish and smell and its not what I expected I do ask for a different selection

Why would they drink it if they hate it? I think its disgusting myself but wine experts love it.

For some I think it is the "In Thing" to do. Others really like and appreciate wine. I can't even have one glass or I will get an immediate headache. I may have an allergy to it...don't know..but I stay away from it.

All alcoholic drinks are an acquired taste. Having acquired the taste some wines taste exactly as you describe while others are simply delicious.

I think wine is very tasty and it does wonderful things in the kitchen to certain dishes. I do use them more for cooking than drinking but I still try to use a good wine because nothing is worse than a bad wine. Might as well use bad vinegar. Good wine can taste many different ways, like fruit, like chocolate, like springtime, or spice, and they all go with different foods.

You probably just don't care for the flavor of wine. Many people don't and there's nothing wrong with that. Me? I love the stuff. I like beer too, but consider most American beers to be swill. Some people, by the way, just don't care for dry wines. I wonder if that's your issue. Also, food can greatly influence the flavor of wine. Many wines are meant to be paired with food and don't show their full character without it. The difference in flavor can be startling.
