Do you feel intimidated or uncomfortable amidst a group of people from a different age group

Nope. I feel more intimidated by my own age group. I am naturally better at conversing with people who are older than me, and I have a lifestyle that could slide quite easily into being a 20 something year old. And people younger than me I can keep busy for hours, they are no struggle. It's people say between 14 and 17 who make me uncomfortable, which is strange. When I talk to them, they always seem to have a glazed, far away look in their eyes which suggests to me they do not have a bloody clue what I am saying. Plus I have been in enough fights to know they are a volitile breed the Portsmouth teenager. I try to avoid them at all costs (which isn't easy, my school is crawling with them. I'm getting itchy just thinking about it!)
