Some people in my school keep on calling me gay, although I really am not. What should I do? I have no problem with homosexuals, but it's really annoying being called one when I'm not.

it happens in every school and it pisses me off if you were to say something then i would say well maybe your the gay one i mean your the one taking so much interest in me when i dont care about you ..well i thought it be funni on top of that dont worry about them... their jack's

The best thing to do is to not let it bother you. Many people will continue to call you gay if they know they will get a rise out of you. If you ignore it - they will eventually stop. Be confident in yourself - do not let others walk over you.

Yeah, same stuff happened to me. There really isn't all that much you can do besides try and not let it bother you. I know from first hand experiance that is a hard thing to do. Most people will make fun of you to get a response, it will all stop eventually if you just ignore it.

Remember !! The people who bark the loudest and point their fingers at others, usually are the ones who have the most to hide. There are just ignorant people in this world that will never change. That's sad, but, true !! You can either ignore them, or confront the one with the loudest mouth HEAD ON !! Sometimes you have to make a stand. A bully bullies others because he can until he can't get away with it any longer. This is something you will have to decide .

All you can do is ignore the ignorance and stupidity, It is usually the guys that have to prove how macho they are that join in these type of name games. Maybe they are the ones that are not too confident in their sexuality so have to show out the testosterone. They will eventually stop and you will be stronger and will be more understanding of those that really are going through problems with their sexual identity

That's school for you... The best thing you can do is ignore it, show that you don't care. If certain people see something bugs you they'll keep doing it, if you don't seem bothered eventually they'll give up and go bother someone else. It's not as if being called gay a few times in high school is really going to hurt you.

You should just ignore them they're just dumb because they have mixed up the definition of gay with homosexuals, lame, and weird. If it makes you feel better,I heard that people who call you gay are usually "HIDING" something of themselves.

ok this happens to me im not gay but loads of people are calling me it it makes me so angry and upset i realli wish tht thet would stop but even when i fight back they carry on even people i dnt know do this to me so do some of my freinds mums think this off me so i try to ignore it or walk away and i personally would class this as bullying but u know just try nd forget about it or get a girlfriend whcih im trying to do not working out so good since im not the nicest looking boy :(

I would just calmly tell them that I am not gay, and those who accuse others of being gay are questioning their own sexuality. As for me, I didn't really give a damn about what people in school thought of me. Most of the people who hated me there were popular skanks and boys with not enough brain cells to rub together. Mostly what I got accused of was being a goth or an emo.
