I just bought the sims 2: pet for ps2. i tried it out and it works just fine. but after building houses and other stuff, i notice that i can't put floor design anymore; whether its a tile, carpet etc. it really doesn't work. anyone know what happened?

i dont understand y that would happen i have the game and i always put down floors that is not supposed to happen to you.

My friend had a problem like this. What she did was access flooring from collections in buy mode. You just have to go into buy mode and then find and click on the little folder icon. Choose a collection from there and scroll through the pages, you should find flooring eventually. Then just floor your homes as you did before! Another, even simpler solution would be if you are in a house that already has flooring and you use the eyedropper. If none of these apply to playstation consoles (I only know for sure about PC), good luck, it might just come back, but in the meantime, just use homes that were already built. Hope I helped, +1.
