Well, our very first instincts aren't ALWAYS right, they could be "colored" with SO many emotions. But, they shouldn't be ignored, either, as they are definetly telling us something. So, I'd say, yes, most certainly trust them, but also listen to what more they might have to say.

It's good to follow them, but not always, I am maybe very analytical and tend to think twice about my decisions if I have the time to do so.

It has been discovered that instincts are most often the best responses to situations. Unfortunately, I don't remember where I read this! I have found in my own experience that instincts are usually correct, but I always review these interjections (which I believe come from the subconscious) with slow consideration of conscious thought as well. As an example, I was once travelling in a train at possibly 60 miles an hour. I had an empty beer bottle and wondered if I could hit one of the series of telegraph poles running alongside the railway line. I just threw by instinct and the bottle smashed into a pole. So now you know I am a vandal!

Yes, I've always listened to my own and they have never steered me wrong. This is where you allow your conscience guide you.
