  • Leave it in the Lords hands. :) He's smarter than I am and can usually fix my messes....on the rarity that they happen. **dripping with sarcasm**
  • it is like when you were in school.don't burn yourself out, give the problem a rest.soon the answer will come to you and you would be surprise how simple it was.
  • I heard a saying when I was a child -- "When you don't know what to do let it be " People will drag you down know matter how we just try to help
  • Normally the more you try to make things right the worse it becomes. So just go with the flow and see what happens...and if it is really starting to wear on you or wear you down just take yourself out of the situation if possible.
  • When that happens, I try to practice the very graceful (yet challenging) art of accepting that there are things I cannot change, learn from it, and let it go :>
  • I usually just stop the whole situation, if it's a major thing regarding a relationship I'll walk away from the relationship, if it's minor I'll just stop a particular conversation that's causing problems. I suppose it depends what you're trying to make right. If you can't dig yourself out of a hole, just stay in it! ;)
  • Oh, I just dealt with a situation like this after about six months of trying to help! I gave it up on Thursday, and it was really tough because I felt like I let my friends down! I was so upset that I was almost in tears! And I almost lost my guy, but only because he felt like I was neglecting him over the whole thing...
  • That usually happens when I open my big mouth and then I try to explain what I really meant and then I start to ramble on and on and it just gets worse and worse.
  • You shouldn't expect things to necessarily get better. All that matters is that you've done what's right. Remind yourself of the age old adage "No good deed shall ever go unpunished".
  • I think in any situation, the more we try to resolve something that wasnt resolvable to begin with, it backfires. It seems we get deeper and deeper into it, and too involved and then it turns out to be a total disaster.
  • you stop trying to make them right and wait to see how it pans out by itself
