G'day kxxy, Thank you for your question. It depends on what type of grass they need and the environment. Grasses are suited to a particular environment regarding issues such as watering requirements and resistance to frost. A grass that suits a warm climate will not suit a cold climate. There are probably other factors such as appearance, requirements and cost as well. Regards

my son is doing a science fair project on grass seed we got grass seed they say contractors use, they gave us best hight grade, good low grade, better middle grade but there was no name for them, in out study the good low grade in 4 days is 3 inches high the better middle grade is 2 inches high and the best high grade is just starting to bud. so i am assuming contractors seeds does not have names....
