I helped a co-worker whose headlights would not turn off and there was a burning plastic smell. Disconnected her battery, let it all cool reconnected it and followed her home with a fire extinguisher at the ready, then unhooked it all again. In the terrible snowstorm we are getting here in Vermont. She's home safe and has a ride to work Monday too.

Today i helped my mom with a social play she was doing. Helped her brainstorm a few ideas. Also booked a ticket for my friend, using my credit card. And lent a shoulder to a depressed friend.

I stopped a domestic fight between a man and a woman. In the shadows, was their 11 year old daughter, crying. I put my arms around here and told her that if this ever happens again, i would personally take her to a safe place, away from the fighting. between her tears, she said okay. I left, feeling a little taller.
