When I use nair to shave my bikini area, I break out with what apparently look and feel like hair bumps in that area, with a few on my upper thighs? What are these?

It could be one of two things... It could be either an allergic reaction or that after a hair has been shaved, it begins to grow back. Curly hair tends to curl into the skin instead of straight out the follicle. This can make the skin look itchy and red, and in some cases, it can even look like pimples. These inflamed papules or pustules can form especially if the area becomes infected. (from wikipedia)To try prevent this from happening, you may want to try waxing. I also use this stuff called "bikini zone", if used after waxing (and shaving) it helps prevent these bumps and it also cools the skin and is an anesthetic so it doesn't hurt as much. hope that helps a little.
