Men: Do you like to be a protector of the woman in your life?

My boyfriend and I are getting serious in our relationship. If we're together for the "long haul," I hope he protects me.

It makes me feel safe, secure, and deeply loved.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned. Or am I?

If you're old fashioned, you're in good company. I think you're right when you point out that women want to be secure and safe. It's a role that I enjoy and my wife expects it and rightfully so. And it's a boost to my self esteem to know that she wants me to "take care of business", if necessary.
