+2. Thanks! I would also add that when the previous president dies, the First Presidency is dissolved and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles automatically becomes the presiding quorum in the Church. The quorum president (who is always the senior Apostle) serves as acting president of the Church until the First Presidency is reorganized.
