    There is no specific commandment to prohibit R-rated movies. However, church leaders have strongly discouraged and counseled against them.

    The church teaches correct principles and we govern oursleves. Watching rated R movies is a personal choice, but strongly discouraged. I would rather be miles from a cliff, than skirting about the edges.

    No, but keep in mind that R-rated movies often have sexual content in them, and according to Matthew 5:28, anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
