Why do women wear g-strings/thongs rather than simply going without underwear to rid visible pantyline?

    Speaking for most women that I know my (all cotton) g-strings are the most comfortable undies I've ever owned. After starting to wear them like 10+ years ago there all I own now. I usually wear them w/ jeans or shorts just for the layer of protection from the some what abrasive denim. But I go commando most of the time when wearing dreses or skirts. It's mostly for comfort but it does make you feel a bit naughty and sexy.

    According to my wife, going commando is almost as bad an idea as a menstruating woman forgoing tampons/pads in some ways and also risks chafing.

    Or, as she put it, "Damp jeans and rugburn aren't sexy.".

    I really don't know..I think to feel sexy..I used to wear them, but eventually found them to be uncomfortable and went to boyshorts...they are still sexy with a lil more coverage and to avoid the pantyline thing I just dan't wear pants that tight

    its all about being sexy. we all want to feel good, and i luv the way a thong rides between my buttcheeks. it sits there so nicely and gives curves and shape to my butt, especially when i take off a tight fitting pair of jeans or lifting up my skirt. i personally like the sensation of a string of material flossing my personal areas. it feels sexy, and i sometimes like to play with it or pull it up. also, what makes the thong sexy is that it disappears in your butt, and then reappears above into whatever you like, such as a sexy hot pink gstring with a shiny emblem, or one with a little bowtie, or one with multiple strings.
