• you end with "LOL" - does that mean you're not serious?
  you began with "native iraqi/irani" - does that mean you are from there?
  If so, your answer would carry weight. But then, on the other hand, sometimes people from other places pronounce words wrong with they speak english - like the people from London who say Ameri-ker and Drawerings - instead of drawings, warsh instead of wash, and so on. Interesting subject, btw, I don't mean any disrespect. Just honestly wondering what is correct.

• i am at currently afganistan now.they speak like this.i am japanese,may be me too pronounce wrong.but sound way cute for me when they speak it.not to offend anyone anyway.and i dont know what is righgt pronunciation in english but i follow what natives call/pronounce .about palestine, native says falesteen. sorry for not working with your english research about pronunciation.i am not too serious nor making fun with this question,just what i know i say.

• What really gets me is that nobody at any network over 10 years of using those words has come up with a guideline for them all to go by. Whatever it is, just be consistent. I don't know which way is right, but I know the talking heads on tv all pronounce them all differently.
