    Yes, there are a lot of common food plants in this family of plants. It also includes Kohlrabi, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Turnips, Radishes, Rutabagas, and Onions & Leeks as well.

    Yes they are only brussel sprouts smell way worse when cooking.Funny thing is I love cabbage but hate brussel sprouts.lol

    hehe yeah that's why they both taste like crap! My father used to make me eat brussel sprouts (when i was old enough to know i didn't like them, as a teenager lol) so I used to kill the taste with ranch dressing. Cabbage is okay some times. Like corn beef and cabbage, I pick out the cabbage and carrots! hehe
