    Scorpio is a very powerful sign, and when it is the rising sign it often dominates the rest of the chart. The deep sense of purpose attributed to Scorpio as a sun sign is likely to be even more deep seated when this sign rises, so here is a very intense and driven person. Considerable energy and organisational abilities are combined with leadership powers in what can be a formidable combination. There is often, however, a need for power for it's own sake, and those with Scorpio rising need to take care not to become obsessive or autocratic. With a deep need to know themselves, the person with a Scorpio Ascendant is capable of seeing their own problems and faults clearly and honestly, but this introspection can often lead to confidence struggles. Emotional security is very important with this placing, but may be exacerbated by jealousy and possessiveness, which can be difficult for a partner to handle.

    i'm a scorpio ascendant. let me tell you this - its like jumping from heaven to hell and vice-versa. Simple advice- never mess with this particular sign unless you are mental. we can go to unreachable limits to obtain our goal.

    I'll be completely honest...being a Scorpio ascendant sucks...sometimes, but yeah, it's awesome most of the time. Us, rising-Scorpions, have the most difficult times in life even though people think we don't. It's stronger than they think and very emotional. Still, no matter how bad ANY situation looks like, we ALWAYS manage to get through it and solve everything. We're the best, yet the worst at the same time. It's a complicated combination, but very powerful. I'm glad to be a rising-Scorpion.

    I am a Scorpio rising myself...I am passionate, compassionate, inquisitive, probing, fiercely loyal and protective to friends and loved ones, suspicious, resentful, intolerant, cold, aloof, stubborn, competitive, dynamic, sensual, secretive, calm, love the occult....brutally honest, great stamina.
