My dog smells really bad, even after a bath. I think it is his feet. Why would he smell this bad?

It's hard to say with this little information. Most cases of bad smell in dogs are due to skin problems, and these skin problems are caused by many different things from specific breed hereditary conditions to the dog's diet (dogs that eat human foot tend to have skin problems). Even if the smell comes from his feet, it still can be be a skin related problem. You should talk with a vet, cause some of this problems can generate serious conditions such as glands problems and even skin cancer. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I have two dogs. One is a long-haired Border Collie mix and the other is a short-haired Pug mix. After being outside only a few minutes, the Pug Mix comes in smelling like a wet dog, even after just having had a bath. The Border Collie mix doesn't smell unless it's been a few weeks since her last bath. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but the Pug mix has hair that sheds water really well, but the Border Collie mix has hair that soaks up water. Makes no sense to me.

LOL Car audio! Good one. They smell like wet dog until they dry off. Try oatmeal shampoo or a nice conditioner and doggy perfume. If it's just his feet, he might have a nail infection. They STINK! My lab smells like Fritos. I don't know why but he does.
