Yes I am pregnant and 16 I would like to know how old you have to be too drop out in Louisiana with parents permission

    Sorry not an answer to your question, but Im a 28 year old father with an 12 year old son and a 6 year old daughter, dont drop out. See if your parents will help take care of your child. Tell them you would want to finish school. I dropped out and I had a really hard time finding a job, trust me, you want to finish school. You might not want to now, but you will regret it if you dont. If your parents wont help you out then I guess dropping out is your only option, dont get rid of the baby. Its tough, trust me. My children's mother finished high school, I took my son and took care of him so she could finish. I still managed but it was a tough time. Please don't ignore this post.

    Im not just dropping out im getting my ged I dont have a choice my parents work and so does my boyfriend I cant go to school and leave her by herself. Im two years behind Im getting my ged either way im not going to school 2 extra years which I have 4 left when I have a kid at home.

    honestly id have to say you shouldnt drop out for any reason unless youve reached the age limit for attending school. go to school as long as possible and try your best. if your parents wont take care of your baby, id suggest online school or alternative school. they will work with you. they have special schools for teen moms. and honey, please be safe. im old school, not so old school where i think sex is bad, just be careful. you are too young to have kids especially more than one. and you dont want any stds. im not your mother, but i hope you take this to heart :)
