I have a 72 vette. Need a frame but am told many different things as to which years fit which! Any ideas?

Hello.
A 68 to 79 frame can be made to work, The ends were the bumpers bolt on will have to be modified. 68 to 72 will bolt in with no mods. One thing a 4 speed frame has the transmission cross member welded in and the auto frame it is bolted in. There is no difference from a convertible or T-Top frame.
