I am now 38 and left school when I was 15.It was an all boys boarding school in West Sussex England, the main building once being an old manor house situated in pleasant grounds close to a large expanse of forest. This is where we lived, about 80 of us,aged between 6 and 16,for most of the year.It was often cold,we were usually hungry (the chef was a drunk with little passion for his job)but none the less I was happy, very happy. It was an endless time of discovery and adventure, played out amidst this glorious setting. It was often violent, sometimes criminal, however never dull. The happiest time of my life, difficult to say,but certainly the most enchanting.

Pre-school to middle school, I'd say yes. But who ever said it for high school... Must have been home schooled or something. That was the worst schooling experience ever. Hopefully I'll enjoy college more.

not really, only if you're "Mr Captain of the football team/popular guy" and then go on to do nothing with your life afterwords. School was not very fun for me, it wasn't until I was working and making friends who didn't have "Social Impressions" to watch about being around the nerds that I was finally happy being myself, working with like-minded and open-minded individuals. Sure, not everybody liked me in the office, but they still respected me for the skills I possessed, which is enough. Not everybody can, nor should they, like you. That would just be creepy.

No, I hated every minute of everyday. I was not with the "in" crowd or any crowd for that matter. My kids were much more popular, but they didn't like school either. It was thier job, and I made sure they did it right!

If learning to fight an entire family because the police wouldn't do anything about their son attacking me is fun, but an the bright side I can really hurt people that attack me now. No it was HELL!.

Yes and no.I was sick and tired of all the annoying assignments,oh and the groups made me sick such as the popular and none popular the geeks and nerds. And when the home work piled up i was like damn!I never enjoyed standing in the hot sun for about an hour for morning assemblies. But i loved when you could spend time with you friends and do the most dumbest things and just look back on it and laugh your head off.Or if the teachers were all in a meeting and every body could just talk all day not having to worry about doing any work and just chill.Only thinking back about some of the really unforgettable times make me miss school well not "school" but the people i met in it. lol

Yes, though I redefine the word "School". School is a place of learning, like life. Therefore, a life of learning is the happiest days of your life. In the end, learn and live and you will be increasingly more happy.
