In the game Battlefield 1942, how do you get a submarine?

On your spawning map, you click on the submarine spawn point, and then click Done. When you spawn onto the submarine, you press the Enter (Default is "E") key and there you have your own submarine. However, if your teammate is in control of the team's submarine, then you can't spawn on it yet, unless he is destroyed.

Awesome question! You can't get a submarine in single player - it has to be multi. One of the island maps has a few submarine spawn points, you'll see a spawn point at sea with no visible ship.
