Unequivacably yes. I support the living people who need medical technology and depend upon valuable research. Without a doubt I do.

"The end doesn't justify the means" - No. If the question were to be phrased: "Do you support stem cell research?" then my answer would be "Yes".
-
I am two sided on this question, because they do use stem cells for good such help for liver, diabetes, alzimers disease. But what I am agianst it is because some would abuse it by trying to make clones, and other horrid things from them.

No I do not support all kinds. I do support stem cell research that makes senses, for injuries to limbs, and injuries to spines and other parts of the body and if its helps in Parkinson's. I would support stem cell research more if the scientists and those that fund them come clean that the major cause of diseases like Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, cancers, autoimmune disorders are genetic mutations in sperm caused by age and toxins that damage the many genes that make up a healthy body and mind. There is so much crass dishonesty and greed in science. Stem cells will never help in conditions caused by DNA damage in the very genes that create a normal development. If scientists, referred to the science that proceeded them and separated out what disorders, like non-familial cancers, Alzheimer's, autism, autoimmune disorders, would be prevented by fathering babies in ones mid 20s to very early 30s, or with sperm cryopreserved from that age, from what stem cells might actually help, I would support stem cell research with less skepticism. Science and its funders are very dishonest about the male biological clock and its influence on the existence of countless devastating conditions that could be prevented by earlier fathering of babies. I know, Firebrand, in some families old fathers can have have fine sons, not as often such healthy daughters though. Your genetic heritage is stellar, but what about the many families that over generations have fathered very late and have developed lots of cancers and autoimmune disorders? Stem cells may have their uses but, I don't believe that they will ever be a panacea so I do not support unlimited research. Announce the public health threat of the DNA damage to spermatagonia and sperm by aging, drinking more than 3 cups of coffee per day, and other toxins, and I will trust scientists motives and their funders motives in studying stem cells more.

I support all genetic, and cellular research, and advancement. Cloning I think is a amazing advancement of mankind. I support cloning also
