I don't. No one's life is like that. I learn about the idealized lives that Hollywood producers envision how idealistic groupings of people interact amongst one another in the zaniest and most highly non-realistic ways imaginable.

No, sitcoms lie! On a 30 minute program every problem is solved in a funny way, and when a woman tells her husband to sleep on the couch he does it!

I have known some individuals who don't seem to learn much via their own life experiences... I believe that it is possible to learn something about life in sitcoms. Life learning is available in many shapes/forms (books, movies, vicariously - through other people's experiences, etc.) It is up to each of us to find meaning. You simply need to have a desire for knowledge or wisdom first. "Ask, and it is given"
