I just planted new grass seeds in my already existing lawn. Which type of fertilizer (brand and product/composition) will best control weeds and allow the new seedlings to sprout?

  I have just seeded a new lawn. Tilled the ground, raked in new seed kept it moist, etc and had grass sprout. A few weeks later, the yard is INFESTED with 3 or 4 different weeds, overrunning the sparse grass blades. How do i fix this problem?
