Yesterday, one of my commercial vehicles received a ticket for violationg the tax tamp ordinance 12.487, I would like to know what this is, since he had 72 hour temporary fuel and tax permit. Thanks

    I don't understand it either. If you had the permit, and were operating within the state for a duration of less than 10 days, the identification sticker is not supposed to be required. The code does mention that the permits should be in the truck. Did the driver have copies of them, or was he able to locate them for the officer? You may want to consult legal counsel on this one.
