  • well even to i am religious. i do. LOl i feel ilke i'm Using him.. and not really appreciating him. I feel like i'm begging for things that i dont have instead of praising him for the things i do. So the answer to this question is- YES
  • i don't think i pray so much as beg and promise the impossible
  • I use to, but since I have given Him my life, I think I can honestly state that I praise Him more than asking for something I really want. I've learned that He will take care of my needs, not my wants. Now I will, say I buy tickets to Disney on Ice for my daughters' birthday and then I will pray that my old '88 car will not break down going or coming from the event. Or that if it is His will that He show me another option of getting there and back (it's about an hour drive to and fro.) That is more of a want-but feel since I could not spend a dime on her for Christmas and she didn't get anything for her birthday (it was in March) then this is something an eleven year old deserves. Luckily, she knows that I love her and that (hopefully) the current lack of money is only temporary. Anyway, I feel this is a need for her, so that she can say she has received something for the two biggest gift getting days of the year. In His grasp, <:))))<>< "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
  • No, I'm not a hypocrite. When I quit "the man upstairs" illusion, the praying to "it" went, too.
  • Yes, it feels a bit cheeky.I am unsure about christianity but I do sometimes pray.I try to balance prayers by thinking of others, asking that I do my best for others in my work and my life and for their wellbeing too.I like to think there is a higher power.
  • I don't pray to anything or anyone. I make my life what it is, through my own choices and decisions.
  • I don't believe I've ever felt the urge to pray. I haven't consumed pornography, however.
  • The only thing I pray for is that G-d, if He exists, will reveal himself to me. [Translation: Guide me.] Odd things have happened... but I am still Agnostic. If G-d exists I hope He is patient! Short answer: Nope.
  • I do not pray, no matter how much help I need. However, I do feel that no one should ever be ashamed to ask for help when they need it, and if that's where people expect to get help then they can pray til they are blue in the face. People who love one another like to be asked for help, and as religion tends to teach 'God/s love us' I suppose it applies here too
  • yes. but i think it's also putting your energy out there. people say that's good. i never pray for anything bad to happen to anyone.
