  • Three weeks with that vet and still not improving? Something's wrong with the vet. Go to another vet before it's too late.
  • A little research led me to this site, which I include for YOU to check out too. http://www.pcoc.net/black-skin-disease.htm Note: while they are a Pomeranian breed focus at the beginning of the site...READ ON...because although Lakelands are not specifically mentioned...OTHER BREEDS ARE INCLUDING "OTHER BREEDS" CATEGORY. From what I found running a Google search...THIS might be a good place to start and you might wish to print it up and share with your Vet, so they too can try to become better educated with regards to this skin disease. Your Vet should have already done some skin patch tests to rule out what it is NOT, however, if this is something rare, or new...it would be a bit of a challenge for the Vet to know all there is to know about it...share this information...and do some more research...PARTNER UP with your Vet! Good luck.
