Ther are woman Pastor's, armore bearer's,and even deacon's at many churches besides catholic church'es and it's according to how God prefer to use the individual.

Any church that does not allow women leaders is not following the word of God. If women were not to be able to lead, then explain Deborah. The Judge of Israel. The highest position of authority of the time. Israel's judges were to rule of religious issues and to lead in the defense of Israel.

Nuns are not biblical, they are not in the bible, they are a catholic thing. It says in the bible that "Women should be silent in church" it aslo says that "A woman may not teach a man, that a woman is only permited to teach other women and children".

Then why is Deborah allowed to be the JUDGE (leader) of Israel? And that is OLD Testament. The Judge was over all religious issues male or female. And to lead in defense of Israel as well.
Judges 4:4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
Judges 4:9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honor; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

my2cents. Then why does it say in 1 corinthians 14:33-34 As in all congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a women to speak in the church.
1 Timothy 2: 11 A women should learn in quietness and full sumission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

As to talking in church, NO ONE is to talk in church male or female. However back then the women generally sat with their children and as can imagine when tending to the children you may miss something and are told to ask your husband at home rather than interupt the preacher.

As for 1 Tim 2:12 ----It is probably no coincidence that the one passage in the Bible prohibiting women teaching Scripture appears in the one set of letters where we explicitly know that false teachers were targeting and working through women. Paul’s letters to Timothy in Ephesus provide a glimpse of the situation: false teachers (1 Timothy 1:6,7,19,20; 6:3—5; 2 Timothy 2:17) were misleading the women (2 Timothy 3:6,7). These women were probably (and especially) some widows who owned houses the false teachers could use for their meetings.

Women were the most susceptible to false teaching only because they had been granted the least education. This behavior was bound to bring reproach on the church from a hostile society that was already convinced Christians subverted the traditional roles of women and slaves.26 So Paul provided a short-range solution: "Do not teach" (under the present circumstances); and a long-range solution: "Let them learn" (1 Timothy 2:11).

Today we read, "learn in silence," and think the emphasis lies on "silence." That these women were to learn "quietly and submissively" may reflect their witness within society (these were characteristics normally expected of women). But ancient culture expected all beginning students (unlike advanced students) to learn silently; that was why women were not supposed to ask questions (as noted above). The same word for "silence" here is applied to all Christians in the context (2:2). Paul specifically addressed this matter to women for the same reason he addressed the admonition to stop disputing to the men (2:8): They were the groups involved in the Ephesian churches. Again it appears that Paul’s long-range plan was to liberate, not subordinate, women’s ministry. The issue is not gender but learning God’s Word.

No, I don't agree with you. The bible is the living word of God, it is the same now as it was 2000 years ago. We can't change the meaning of The Word of God to suit our selves, just because we don't want it to apply to us, today. I know no one is meant to talk in church, the text is not refering to that. It plainly says "I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. The bible is The living word of God. I know there are women who like to go out the front of the church, stand near the alter and talk to the congregation, I know some women like to administer communion, I know in some churches women like to preach. BUT it is wrong, we must not change the word of God to suit ourselves. It is writen in the bible, therefore it is true. Women are not permitted to teach a man. Women must be silent in church.

If woman are to be silent in church, then please explain Deborah--judge of Israel, Phoebe a leader of the church in Cenchreae to whom the Epistle to the Romans was a reply to a letter from Phoebe on behalf of the church. (Romans 16:27) If it were not proper for Phoebe to write a letter on behalf of the church in HER name, I am quite sure Paul would have lined that out within Romans. But instead Paul commends her and tells them to give to her whatever she is of need because she is a help to Paul and many others (Rom 16:1-2)

- Clearly shows a woman Prescilla teaching (with her husband Aquilla) to a MAN--Apollos. Later in Romans Paul commends them -- Rom 16:3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus. -- Notice that Prescilla name is listed first before her husband this according to custom which Paul would certainly know. Likely showed that Prescilla was of higher status in the church. And there are other women Paul commends for their work in Christ. I don't know how you may work in Christ if you may not speak.

As you have said God is the same today as in the past. So why have Deborah and Phoebe and Precilla and the other women allowed to teach and preach and judge. But the suddenly women must be silent???? There are no 2nd class citizens with God, God is no respecter of persons.

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

After this chauvinistic statement Paul exclaims "What?" Paul is almost beside himself when he reads back this statement from the letter written to him. Paul is not the one making the statement. Paul is quoting from the letter. The fact Paul exclaims, "What? came the word of God out from you?" shows that the statement came from the Corinthian church, and they were claiming to exclude the women from speaking based on the Law, which they claimed was the word of God.
Of course when you recognize that Paul did not teach the Law but Grace, you realize Paul would never use the Law to prove anything. The author of this statement about women remaining silent used the Law as the basis of this practice. "But they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law." Paul would never use the Law to enforce any behavior. Paul taught that the Law was nailed to the cross (see Ephesians 2:15 and Colossians 2:14), so why would he appeal to the Law to ban women? Paul did not agree with the statement but questioned it.

I always have found comfort and peace when reading The Holy Bible. I have always believed it to be The Living Word of God.

You have now told me that some of it, is not to be believed.
So, you are saying that The Holy Bible is not The Living Word of God?
I am very saddened.

If a church does not allow women leaders, they are not teaching in accordance with God's Word. I am a Deacon in my Protestant Church, who incidently is a Bible believing, Bible teaching church. It is important to remember that not all places of gathering that call themselves churches are in fact teaching God's Word. There are many false prophets.
