I want to change my user name but i want people to still know it's me. any ideas?

well ur just gunna let ppl get used to it or realize it. i changed my name recently and i wuz known as anonymous. and ppl actually knew who i wuz (not just any random anonymous). but now that i've changed it as u can see, im not sure whether ppl still recognize me. oh well. its just something u have to deal with. but the easy way out is just not change ur name at all. so u have a dilemma... change ur name and not be recognized as familiar, or dont change it.

Your avatar is fairly distinctive, so that helps. The solution I like is to make the change in a series of stages, so that it "mutates slowly" rather than suddenly becoming unrecognizable. So, if you wanna become "Stablecat", you could go from "Clueless Ned" to "Clueless Cat" to "Cluefull cat" to "Stablefull cat" to "Stablecat". Then, of course, I would have to sue you for impersonating a member of the Stable Family of Sock Puppets.

End every question, answer or comment with "(I used to be Clueless Ned)" for a couple of weeks. We'll soon get the hang of it.
