Did anyone get baptized into the Roman Catholic Faith at the Easter Vigil? What did you think of the ceremony (spectators and participants)?

no, I was baptised in the baptist church at age 7..but I was confirmed in the RCC and made my first eucharist on Holy Thursday 1980. It is a beautiful and spiritually enriching experience to participate in and to observe.

I made my profession of faith at the Easter Vigil. It was a moving experience. As I sat and listened to the readings and watched the choir, and Renewing my baptismal vows,knowing that I would stand in front of everyone and profess my faith and recieving communion for the first time as a catholic was a beautiful experience for me. Every time I smell crimson I will think of that special evening. Lent leads up to the renewing of baptismal and the rejoice of the resurrection of the lord what could be more moving and memorable.
