    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The length of lacrosse stick varies. A short stick used by middle and attack men must be between 40 and 42 inches. A long stick used by defenders and middles must be between 52 and 72 inches with a shaft of 60 inches; the goalie stick is the same length, but with a shaft of only 40 inches and a much bigger head.
