  • We were diving in Jamaica last year and saw sea turtles and that was really outstanding.
  • Schools of hammerhead sharks at 50m beolw the surface. Awesome but scary too. In the Red Sea I found the snorkelling was better than the diving because the reefs were so good at surface level
  • yes. i am a rescue diver and there are a lot of amazing and beautiful marine animals. the kind of sea life you will see depends on the area you will be diving. the marine life you will see in thailand, malaysia, indonesia, philippines,egypt, seychelles and maldives are almost the same. colorful reef fishes like butterfly fish, angel fish, anemone fish (nemo), sergeant majors, surgeon fish and a lot more. there are also a lot of hard and soft corals that you can't see in any temperate areas. i went diving w/ my bf in fujairah (uae) and found more than a meter long green sea turtle and saw a moray eel the size of a dog!
