No...it simply means "health".

Means the same thing--to your health. We also say, "Dios te bendiga" (God bless you) when someone sneezes. In my town in Puerto Rico, the first sneeze, we'd say "salud", second one "dinero" (money), third one "amor" (love)--wishing the person all three! :-)

It means the same thing - health. In the part of the Spanish-speaking world that I live in people don't say salud when you sneeze, they say Jesus.

salud means health...but where im from we use it for sneeze or toast SALUD in japanese is GENKI... its pretty much like in japanese they use genki meaning health in different times..
