    Pergo recommends that you sweep its flooring with a broom or use the hard flooring attachment of a vacuum cleaner to clean up loose dirt. To clean up spills or messes that you cannot sweep up, damp mop with a little water. Never use a soaking wet mop or wet jet-type cleaners.

    On the Other: Tough Clean-Up Jobs

    Never use harsh cleaning liquids or any cleaners that contain wax, soap or detergent. For more stubborn messes, you may use a gallon of water mixed with one cup of vinegar or one-half cup of ammonia to clean Pergo flooring. Pergo also recommends their Laminate and Hard Surface Cleaner that will remove stains and even cigarette burns from the floor.
