  • Your neighbors only appear to be nice. In reality, they're really cat people like in that one older movie.
  • Listen to her body language. Don't leave her outside chained up or in pen when you are out. If she doesn't trust these people, I would not trust them either.
  • Leave your dog out while you go some where and set up a video camera and see what happens.... She doesn't like them for a reason... Try it!!
  • Dogs have a very sensitive sense of smell. Your neighbours might have a scent (food, cologne, even laundry detergent) that is triggering a bad memoery for her. Was she abused before you got her? I once had a dog that had been abused by its previous owners when they were drunk, and she would get upset and defensive when she smelled alcohol.
  • My answer is totally different. It is said that dogs have the power to sense forecoming calamities and spirits(ghosts). So maybe your dog had seen or sensed evil energy near your neighbours' house. This is just my opinion. I am not sure about the truth. As anonymous said, try video taping her. Might work. Or in extreme cases, ask your neighbours to cleanse their houses (with holy water). As I said earlier, THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. I AM NOT SURE OF THE TRUTH.
  • We used to have a beagle that would slouch down everytime we reached out to pet her(like a dog that has been abused does), however we had had her since she was born and she had never been hit. Who knows what goes through a dog's mind!
  • my one year old black lab has this same type of problem. we were at the part playing fetch and some girl came up and kicked my dog because she was running towards her dog because the stick was over there so now she has a girl problem so what i have been doing is taking her to the park and asking people to give her a treat that i give them and then pet her and its working so maybe you can try something like that with your neighbors. goodluck!! :D
  • Your neighbors are vampires
