No, it wasn't important to me. Losing it meant becoming an adult and exposing myself to everything that adults have, not just the pleasure from sex, but the emotional maturity needed to deal with such a relationship. It was a learning experience.

I felt set free when I lost my virginity. It was like letting a bird out of a cage that had been confined for years. Yes my virginity did mean something to me...it was a burden that I was happy to FINALLY be rid of.

yes it was to me when i lost it i was like that's it? it's nothing but as me and my first broke up 2 years afther that it still ment nothing now years later i started dating a guy his name was jose a year past and he got down on one knee and asked me if i wold be his wife and now hes my husband and hes a man that i onlythought existed in my fairy tales were so much in love sometimes i wish i wold of just waited i would of been happy it was with my husband other than a guy that still lives with his parents and say hes a so called MAN!
