The original late 50s artist was Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, from Nashville, Tn.

This group use to be The Gladiolas, with their hit song, "Little Darlin'".

The Gladiolas disbanded and Maurice Williams teamed with the Zodiacs and recorded their one time hit.............."Stay".

Van Morrison sings a song with these words at the end of a film, or movie if your not from the UK. The song is called Irish Heartbeat and the film is called The Match Maker.

    Simply99 -- Not a fan favorite.

Here's a slap of trivia about this song. As for top 40 hits, this one is the shortest in length.

However, we never found out if she actually stayed. Or did he eat up all the extra time singing about it? Kind of like High School Musical 2. They all look forward to getting out of school when summer vacation starts, but spends 10 minutes hanging out in the school singing about how they can't wait to get outside. That's 10 minutes of their vacation they will never get back. Sorry, Sharpay, you lost again.
