    Safety is the most important consideration for anyone watching children, whether as a parent, a teacher, or a childcare worker. Friendly Hill Elementary School uses some standard rules for its playground.

    Aggression

    No fighting or "play fighting." Do not chase other children or pull on their clothing.

    Swings

    No jumping off of swings. No twisting the swings or swinging sideways. Sit in the seat while swinging.

    Slides

    Only one child on the slide at a time. Go down the slide with feet forward. Do not play under the slide.

    Obey the Adult

    Follow directions of the "duty person." Talking back, rudeness, or disrespectful tones are not tolerated.

    Play in the Playground

    Play only in designated areas.
