Ephedra worked great for me about 6 years ago. Now I just do Atkins. That's a good plan, but hard to follow for the first 2 weeks. You CAN'T cheat, not even a bite! But, it's good if you stick to it.

I have tried the sensible and the absurd. Have lost up to 93 pounds at times. The sensible ways work best. I've tried the old fashioned sort of Richard Simmmons, eat balanced and exercise and thnk that works very well and gets you to eat correctly without relying on diet pills, diet foods and such. It teaches you to deal with food with common sense and long term. I have discovered a book that talks about the "False Fat Diet" that is really terrific info. Reading it makes alot of the conflicting info about no carb, hi fat, lo fat, hi carb diets come together and you can understand WHY one way can work for one person and not another. Great book! Great diet! Great way of HEALTH with this book.

Tried pills, tried fad diet crap etc. What worked best in the end was working out, getting more active (riding to work, getting interested in a sport) and learning how to eat a balanced, healthy diet. I lost 20-something kilograms, looked 10 years younger, got told by the doc I was the healthiest 30 year old he'd ever seen (and I'm 40) and it changed my life in ways trying to dump a 'pill' never could.

None, you have to look at it as a lifestyle change. More activity, less eating. I don't believe there is any 'magic' pill.

Walking, running, (total of 5 miles a day) water, limiting sugar and portion control. (3/ 400 calorie meals a day, plus two light snacks)

Atkins, all the way. 18 lbs in six weeks so far and I can't remember the last time I felt so good. I wish I'd known how well this would work back when I gave birth to my son (and already had a toddler running around in diapers). I sure could have used the extra energy, and saved myself from gaining like 80 lbs.

my mom is on atkins. in the first yr and a half she lost 150. and down the line you can cheat a little because you are able to control yourself. don't think of it as a diet, but a lifestyle. i also heard there's another variation that works for people who love carbs: eating all the carbs you want for one hour each day but each day it must be during the same hour. i'm not sure of the logic behind that but my uncle was trying it and it seemed to be working.

If you combine phentermine (adipex) 37.5mg with daily use of the treadmill and a sensible diet it seem to help tremendously, I lost 70 lbs in 6 months. Good luck!
