Why are some homosexuals flamboyant? Isn't acting that way simply silly and deviant (by its literal meaning), regardless of one's sexual orientation?

I hate to tell you this but not all gay men are flamboyant and not all gay women look like truck drivers. Edit I appologize. It was early in the morning when I answered. I didn't see the word some. As far as your question goes it's just a matter of taste. I see lots of people who don't dress in a way that is deviant from societal norms. I assume that the definition you are refering to is different from societal norms. Some of them may be trying to make a political statement.

It's the amount of Testocerone, I might have spelled the word wrong, That determins weither, or not, you are more girly or more guy-ish. Flamboyant homosexuals have less testocerone than onther homos. making them act more girly. Lesbians have more T than most girls; making them act more like guys. Normal guys, like me, have a good amount of T. other than having a dick; that's what makes us guys. Normal Girls have a lower amont of T. making them girls. Acting like the opposite sex is seen as silly/deviant by some, but others see it as a huge no-no.
