No. You forget - Iran has no nuclear weapons with which to defend itself, should war come. According to a recent study, if Iran gave caution to the wind and started producing nuclear weapons, with it's current facilities, it should have ONE by 2020. Yeah, that one bomb is going to be enough to fight a war against the United States and the United Kingdom, two of the most dangerous countries on Earth! If they do decide to go to war (these countries), I should imagine the Americans would win it fast - although, not without their fair share of bloodshed.

Well let me clarify if some people associate WWIII to necessarily involving Nuclear weapons (I don't). Let's just call it a "Global Conflict" involving many nations, mostly West versus the Middle East, but using mostly or ALL conventional warfare (not nuclear). In my eyes, that's called a World War, but I don't want to get caught up in semantics for the purposes of this question. I just think that at the current rate, military use against Iran will eventually happen.

It's possible it has already begun. If so history might show it's beginning to be September 11, 2001.

Yes it will happen and the major cause will be Islam Fascism.

Well, certainly not a world-war, that would require most of the countries (or at least the more powerful ones) to be involved, which doesn't look like what's going to happen... Most Western countries are pulling out of the whole Middle-East conflict, and Iran looks more like it's trying to provoke an attack from someone else, than setting up to strike first... As long as the people in power within the next decade or so are reasonably intelligent (apparently a lot to ask of politicians these days), then things should be fine... If however, we have a George Bush Mk2 come into power, we're f---ed. Period. Make peace with your God, lay down, and wait for the nukes. Heh, not really : P But there needs to be some very careful behaviour from all countries over the next decade or so if we are to avoid even more conflict. Regardless, we aren't looking at a world-war, just a large conflict between 2 or 3 countries 'maybe', if things go badly wrong.
