  • The same as everyone else. She cleans your office whether you meet her or not, and as well as those who have met her. Not having met her does not get you out of being considerate.
  • The same as everyone else... you may not know her, but she cleans the floor you walk on, and the surfaces you touch just like she does for everyone else in the office =) Looking at it from an entirely selfish point of view, it probably won't go down too well with your colleagues or make you look too fantastic if you chip in less than them.
  • Hi Jadey. Please allow me to point out another perspective. In the past two years, mt organization has had three different cleaning crews. The first two were less than memorable. I would see them if I was staying late for some reason, and a couple kinda got on my nerves a little by talking to me while I was obviously trying to work. Also, one of them ran over my charger with a vacuum cleaner and ruined it. The crew that was hired about six months ago is OUTSTANDING! I don't know what any of them look like, but they vacuum every night, empty all the trash cans, and every Monday in the morning the desks have all been cleaned and straightened. I planned on buying a cake and leaving it there on a Friday just to show MY appreciation. I never even thought of a Christmas gift, so thank you. I will act on it. I think that good help is hard to get and a little appreciation goes a LONG way. I just got done telling this to my boss a couple weeks ago, so now would be a good time to practice what I preach. I hope you don't mind being appreciative if they're a good crew. If you feel you can't afford money, baked goods or home made crafts are usually well taken this time of year.
