  • You could eat healthy and exercise so you don't have to worry about your weight. You could also talk to a parent/sibling/guardian for some suggestions. Don't let your weight be your main worry. Try doing fun things that DO NOT involve major eating and don't focus on your weight! Hope this helps :)
  • Well this is how you figure it out. 1) Take your weight and multiply by 704.7 2) Take that number and divide it by your height squared height squared: 5'0" = 3600 5'1" = 3721 5'2" = 3844 5'3" = 3969 5'4" = 4096 5'5" = 4225 5'6" = 4356 5'7" = 4489 5'8" = 4624 5'9" = 4761 5'10" = 4900 5'11" = 5041 3) The remaining number is your BMI Emaciated = UNDER 15 BMI Anorexic = Under 17.5 BMI Underweight = Under 19 BMI Normal = 19 - 24 BMI Overweight = 25 - 29 BMI Obese = +29 BMI
  • It's important when you want to achieve something that you focus on what you DO want to do rather than what you do not want. For athletes, this means never thinking "don't miss this serve," "don't drop the ball," etc. Instead they think "I'm going to serve the ball in X spot," "I'm going to make the catch for sure," etc. I would say to focus your thoughts on eating fun, tasty and healthy food, and what activities you enjoy doing that involve exercise. Better yet get some friends in on those activities so they are even more fun and you have support. Some people are obsessive by nature, but if you focus on the positives and healthfulness you won't have a problem. Also, NEVER think about your weight. Don't even get on a scale. Just eat healthy and exercise and the rest will take care of itself. Hope this helps! (PS, 21 BMI is very healthy - if you lift weights and develop nice toned muscle, your BMI could go up but you would actually be even healthier and probably leaner)
