There is a feminist around every corner in the U.S. They must have fled Australia and come to the states.

Feminism has become distorted. Equality means recognising and getting rid of patriachal genderal social constructs, not making more of them.

hmmm ... i absolutely consider myself a feminist. i believe in equal rights for men and women. period. yet, in my relationships, i like my role to be the woman (feminine) and his the man (masucline). I like a man to be strong, to make me feel protected, who is caring and will take out the garbage. i, on the other hand, like to nurture, make romantic dinners, etc. do you regard this as anti-feminist?

+6 from me Trotksys. I agree with you. It seems more and more like us women are looking for special treatment instead of equality. Not all, but some.

bolilla: Everybody has their own fetishes, keep it personal. Don't export your conservative beliefs on others, is all. Penny: Thanks. :) Special treatment has a reversing effect.

well ... you're 17. so i'll just say maybe you'll understand when you're a little older :) conservative beliefs ... i don't think i've ever been accused of that one.

I guess, sorry.
by Halskiisaklink on April 3rd, 2007
awww but if you concede and say 'i guess, sorry' that leaves me bored at work with nothing to debate. oh well.

Heh heh, aversion is a beautiful thing. I personally like strong women, intelligent women moreso. I wonder how a psychologist would read into that.
by Halskiisaklink on April 3rd, 2007
kudos to that. i just know that you can have both in one package. but, you're right. i'll leave it. to each their own.
