I had a great girlfriend, but I just don't know why, seemingly overnight, I wasn't attracted to her at all anymore, I feel like trash. Why did this happen? I broke up with her to 'do the right thing'.

Because your a dude and you got bored with her but you may have really liked her and now your probably regreting it but if not you may have realized that she isn't the one for you.

It could be for any number of reasons. You did the right thing by not leading her on. However, there must be a reason you weren't attracted to her anymore. It might not even be about her, did something happen recently in your life? I'd try to figure it out just in case you regret breaking it off in the future. Even if you still don't have any feelings, you may learn something about yourself.

It was probly just the lust factor for you. You obviously didnt love her so when the lust wore away, all your feelings were gone (since the feelings never really went all that deep anyways).

Let me tell you from experience, you don't fall out of love/liking/attraction with someone overnight unless you find something about them in that instance that turns you off. I had this happen to me, and in retrospect, I got scared that I found "THE ONE" which threw me for a loop! I regret having broken it off with her over some childish reason of being scared, because I have never found someone even remotely close to her. Love like that don't come along often, so my advice is to really think about what you are doing and why, cause the regret is hard to deal with!
