Does anyone else think its silly that i own 2 staffordshire bull terriers yet i`m peftrified of cats, peolpe i know seem to think it is.

Yeah, must be an illogical fear. How many cats have you heard in the news over a savage attack leaving the victim either dead or needed extensive plastic surgery?

As far as I know not to many people fear cats, in general. I've known people who fear a single cat due to poor temperment, but thats about it. At least your dogs will keep those evil kitties at bay!

Yes, I am very sorry but it IS silly, no cat could do to you what a bull terrier could. But then again, I can understand it from the point of view that you can train a dog to do what you ask, but you can't train a cat. There for you are silly, yet understandable! :)

No I don't think it is silly. Maybe it is something that you have picked up from your father. Maybe try and find out if he knows why he is afraid. Cats and dogs are two different propostions as far as being domestic pets go. There thinking and behaviour is very different from dogs. So I don't think it is silly.

No its not silly. Why should you not be scared of cats but like dogs? A cat is a different animal to a dog so why is it silly. I have 2 jack russells and a german shepherd but am terrified of birds.
